Hi, my name is Lisa and welcome to Counting Stars my gratitude blog of all things that inspire me. I’m a wife and mum to three beautiful children. This is my online journal where I write about all the things I love, home decor, gardening, photography, baking, nature and travel.

I built a career in Human Resources for 18 years when my third child was diagnosed with a rare condition. After 8 years of finding my way as a carer I have learnt to appreciate every day moments.  I am practicing living a positive and mindful life focusing on self care. I am inspired by strong amazing women from all walks of life and hope to introduce you to women who have inspired me during my journey.

Welcome to my blog as I navigate raising three kids, managing a business, renovating and gardening my very own block and everything else I love thrown in.
